our terms + conditions

 

In this Terms + Conditions, Drool Australia Pty Ltd trading as ‘Drool’ may be referred to as ‘Drool’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘we’.

This Terms + Conditions describes what you accept and agree to when you visit or make a purchase from droolexperiences.com and when you attend and take part in any of our food and/or beverage experiences and events.

 

PRICING

The cost of each event or experience is set by Drool Australia (Drool) and can be viewed on our website. Payment in full is required to secure your booking.


CANCELLATION BY YOU

Unless an event or experience is postponed or cancelled by Drool, refunds and transfers are only considered when a written request is received 7 days before the event begins. However, if you are unable to attend an experience, please do get in touch with us to discuss. Should you wish to obtain a refund, you will have the opportunity to do so within 30 days from being notified of the same.

No refunds are given once an event or experience has commenced. If you fail to attend an event or experience that you have paid for, you will not receive a refund.


CANCELLATION BY US

In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond Drool’s control prevent it from fulfilling any obligations, Drool will endeavour to reschedule the cancelled event or experience and transfer your booking. If we are unable to reschedule the event or experience, or if you are unable to attend the event or experience at an alternative time, a credit note will be issued, and any refund or transfer requests will be considered. Should you wish to obtain a refund, you will have the opportunity to do so within 30 days from being notified of the same.


CHANGES TO EXPERIENCES

Drool reserves the right to alter or postpone its events or experiences, or to change fees, Instructors or locations if unforeseen circumstances occur.


RSA

(Responsible Service of Alcohol)

Each of our respective Mixology and Wine Tasting Instructors and each of the partner venues that we hosts our experiences or events from have a Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy. It is illegal to serve alcoholic beverages to any person who is intoxicated or who may attempt to drive a vehicle and as such our Drool Instructors and our partner venue staff reserve the right to refuse service to such person and or request the departure from the premises. It is illegal also to serve beverage to any person less than eighteen (18) years of age and our Drool Instructors and our partner venue staff reserve the right to request suitable identification.


CONDUCT

To create a safe working environment for our staff and participants, Drool will not permit or suffer any riotous, disorderly, offensive or improper conduct. Offenders will be asked to leave the event or experience and may be escorted off the premises by a Drool representative or member of security personnel.


ALLERGENS

Drool aims to accommodate various dietary requirements, however we cannot guarantee an environment free from any allergens or food types including but not limited to meat, dairy products, eggs, peanuts and gluten.


MINORS

If you are under the age of eighteen (18) years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate in an event or experience.


EQUIPMENT & TOOLS

You must follow all directions provided by Drool and your Instructor regarding the proper use of equipment and tools provided. You are liable for the cost of making good any damage or loss caused to materials or equipment arising out of your failure to follow reasonable instructions or any other negligent conduct.


PERSONAL POSSESSIONS

You will have sole responsibility for the safe keeping of any personal possessions and equipment that you bring to the event or experience.


FOOD SAFETY

You must follow any and all food safety and hygiene directions provided by your Instructor. You must take all reasonable precautions while engaging in activities involving or associated with food handling and preparation.


FOOTAGE & PHOTOGRAPHY

You are aware that footage of the event or experience may be filmed or photographed by Drool. You provide consent to the use of footage for printing, broadcast, publicity and promotional purposes, including but not limited to Drool’s website and advertising mediums and agree that Drool will own all intellectual property rights in the visual or audio-visual materials produced.


PERSONAL INFORMATION

You agree that any personal information you provide to Drool will be used for the purpose of coordinating your participation in the event or experience, and to notify you of future events, expereiences and products provided by Drool. You understand that you may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe function in the e-mail communications.


LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE

Drool and its partner venues and its authorised agencies and associated companies will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with the event or experience, your participation in the event or experience, or in respect of the footage, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).


LAW GOVERNING

The law governing these terms will be the law of the State of Victoria, Australia. By accepting the policy, I indicate that I have read this indemnity release and waiver of liability fully and I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participating in the event or experience, including such risks in using the cooking equipment, consumption of food and any allergens, and the risk of kitchen fires and cooking with open flames.


VICTORIAN DINING & ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM

All applications for money claimed back via the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program are between the customer and the program administrators (the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and WAIVPAY Ltd).

Please be aware that Drool is not responsible for payment returned via this program, and will not provide 25% money back for our In-Person Dining & Entertainment Program under this Victorian Government scheme.


PRIVACY
